Matching skills and jobs requires a clear link between work life and Vocational Education and Training. Education is undergoing constant changes under the effects of the ongoing internationalisation. The future challenges for VET educator and employers are often associated with increased demand for international skills in the labour market. What are the principal dilemmas faced by VET educators in providing quality education that meets the labour market needs?

Attend the seminar Linking skills – Labour market and VET education 10.5–11.5.2016 in Vaasa, Finland. The seminar includes a visit to the Finnish National Skills Competitions in Seinäjoki. Take the opportunity to combine the event with organised Study Visits 12.5.2016 and Cultural visits 13.5.2016.

Study visits 12.5.2016: Social- and Health care, Energy Industry, Construction Sector and Vocational Education and Training (EQF 4-6)

Cultural visits 13.5.2016: Stundars open-air museum & a unique meteorite crater centre or Kvarken Archipelago, the only Finnish natural heritage on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
